This endorsement forms part of section 1 a
and is subject otherwise to the terms, provisions, conditions and exclusions contained in the policy of insurance or endorsed thereon.
- Indemnification
1.1. The insurer shall indemnify the insured in respect of loss of or damage to reactor pressure vessels and their internal elements, except fuel and absorber elements.
1.2. The indemnity shall also include the reasonable costs incurred for decontamination.
1.3. The indemnity provided by this endorsement shall not exceed the limit of indemnity specified below.
- Definitions
2.1. Fuel elements mean the fuel material (fissionable, fertile, compounding and alloying material), fuel cladding and associated support structures.
2.2. Absorber elements mean the shut-down rods, control rods and shim rods and associated structural material.
2.3. The external limits of the reactor pressure vessel are defined as shown in the attached drawing No.
