LOADING AND UNLOADING CLAUSE

It is hereby declared and agreed that this Policy is extended to indemnity the Insured against legal liability in respect of bodily injury and/or damage to property

  1. arising out of and in the course of loading and unloading operations from a stationary vehicle including delivery or collection of the load from or to the vehicle.
  2. caused by any article or part of the load falling from a vehicle whilst in transit.

    thanking yo for the above definition quite ok, this is what i was looking for , just in the right time, as i was issuing an open marine policy & i include th additional benefit ” this policy includes loading & unloading operation” within the ICCA 2009 which is included by default.

    when issued th epolicy, reinsurer has requested its definition/wording so i borrow it from you addin the word “vessel” to it as under”

    loading and unloading from or to VESSEL is covered by default under ICCA 1/1/82 and 2009
    loading and unloading from or to truck/vehicle at the warehouse is not covered under ICCA 82
    suggest to use ICCA 09
